Terms of service
Last updated 6 October 2026
1. Agreement
By using the Finsolo website or engaging our paraplanning, coaching or administrative services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or the services.
2. About Finsolo
Finsolo provides non-advised paraplanning, coaching and administrative support. We are based in Peterborough and cover all of the United Kingdom remotely. We operate under UK law. Email hello@finsolo.co.uk. Phone 07456 755 889.
3. Services
- Coaching and organisation. Cashflow coaching, pension clarity reporting, and personal or household administration for individuals and families.
- Administrative support. Onboarding, letter-of-authority chasing, CRM updates and general administration for advice firms.
- Paraplanning. Research, report frameworks and technical preparation. The authorised adviser completes advice content and remains responsible for the recommendation.
- Retainers and projects. Ongoing support or one-off work, as set out in an engagement letter.
We do not give regulated financial, investment, mortgage or equity-release advice, and we do not assess suitability.
4. Professional standards
Paraplanning work is completed to Level 4 diploma standard. We work in a way that lets authorised firms meet their own FCA and Consumer Duty obligations. We maintain professional indemnity insurance, follow sensible data-security practice, and keep up professional development. The founder holds DipFA, CeMAP and CeRER and is a member of the London Institute of Banking & Finance.
5. Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate, complete information.
- Answer questions in reasonable time.
- If you are an adviser, keep your own regulatory permissions and review every deliverable before it is used with a client.
- Follow FCA rules that apply to you.
- Pay the agreed fees.
6. Pricing and payment
Published rates include administrative support typically at £25–£40 an hour, full paraplanning at £50–£70 an hour where hourly, case fees on the pricing page, and monthly retainers. Reserved weekly capacity is offered at £900 a month (10 hours a week) and £1,800 a month (20 hours a week). Private-client support is priced on need.
Invoices are issued when the work is finished, or monthly for retainers. Payment is due within 14 days unless we agree otherwise. Late amounts may carry interest at 8% a year above the Bank of England base rate. We may pause work if an invoice is overdue.
7. Confidentiality
Client information is confidential. It is stored with access controls and shared only where that is needed to do the work, or where the law requires it. Confidentiality continues after the engagement ends. See the privacy policy for personal data.
8. Intellectual property
Once the invoice is paid, you own the final deliverables created for you. We keep our methods, templates and processes. You may not resell the work without written permission. We may use anonymised examples in marketing.
9. Liability
If you are an authorised adviser, you remain solely responsible for advice given to your clients, your regulatory duties, reviewing our work before use, and the suitability of any recommendation.
To the extent the law allows, our liability for a claim about a piece of work is limited to the fees paid for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Claims should be notified within 12 months of discovery. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited.
10. Ending an engagement
Either party may end an engagement on 30 days' written notice, or sooner if the engagement letter says so. Either party may end immediately if the other is insolvent, or if a breach is not fixed within 14 days of notice. You pay for work done to that point, and we hand over work in progress as it stands.
11. Using the website
Do not misuse the site, attempt to break into it, upload harmful code, copy content for republication without permission, or scrape it with automated tools. We aim to keep information accurate and do not warrant that every page is complete or current. Website content is general information, not advice.
12. Third-party services
Links and embeds, including Calendly for booking, are outside our control. Their content and privacy terms are their own.
13. Events outside our control
We are not liable for delay caused by something beyond our reasonable control, including outages, industrial action, or acts of government.
14. Disputes and law
Please contact us first. If we cannot resolve a dispute, both sides will consider mediation before litigation. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
15. Changes, severability, entire agreement
We may update these terms. Material changes are emailed to current clients. Continuing to use the services after a change means you accept the new terms. If a clause is unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms, the engagement letter and the privacy policy are the whole agreement.
